Filmmaker Sudipto Sen's new folklore thriller, 'Charak: Fair of Faith,' teases a dark exploration of blind faith and superstition in rural India. Set against the backdrop of the Charak mela, the film delves into disturbing rituals and moral dilemmas as a community seeks to fulfill wishes through intense devotion, questioning the line between faith and fanaticism.

Debut director Karan Tejpal's thriller film 'Stolen' will be screened at the Orizzonti Extra section of the 80th Venice Film Festival. The segment "innovates and demonstrates creative originality" and will showcase up to 10 works. Produced by Gaurav Dhingra, the movie features Shubham, Abhishek Banerjee, Harish Khanna, Mia Maelzer, and sahidur rahaman. The festival will run from August 30 to September 9, with Edoardo De Angelis' 'Comandante' as the opening film, replacing Zendaya's 'Challengers.'
