Nato secretary-general jens stoltenberg said on Wednesday that a blast in Poland that killed two people was probably not an attack by Russia, but rather caused by a Ukrainian air defense system meant to counter a Russian aerial bombardment. He added that the alliance has “no indication that Russia is preparing action” against any of its 30 member countries.

"We must be prepared for this to last for years," said Secretary-General jens stoltenberg. "We must not weaken in our support of Ukraine, even if the costs are high -- not only in terms of military support but also because of rising energy and food prices."
