Dalai Lama has offered condolences to the victims of Norway violence. For the same he wrote a letter to Prime Minister of Norway, H E Jens Stoltenberg on July 23, 2011.In his letter, the Tibetan spiritual leader has expressed his sadness and shock at the tragedy that has befallen Norway. A bomb blast had taken place in the centre of Oslo as well as the shooting incident at the youth camp.The Dali Lama expressed his condolences and expressed solidarity with the prime minister and people of Norway with whom the Tibetans have a special and close connection.However, his Holiness stated that the people of Norway are resilient and therefore was confident that they would slowly overcome this tragedy.
The Dalai Lama conveyed his prayers for those who had lost their lives and members of the bereaved families.
