indrasis acharya has wrapped up the shooting part of his upcoming film ‘Niharika’, which sees Anuradha Mukherjee, Shilajit Majumdar, Anindya Sengupta and Mallika Mazumdar in key roles. The plot revolves around a woman (Anuradha Mukherjee), who’s left with no choice but to live in isolation, away from all the chaos of the city. Interestingly, the name of the house she’s stuck in is Niharika. Just like his previous films, Indrasis will be highlighting the complexities of human relationship in this film as well.

Filmmaker indrasis acharya has a piece of good news to share. His next film ‘Niharika’ has earned its first festival laurel and it’s the prestigious Adelaide Film Festival. The first slice of a life drama will compete in the main section of the festival which will run from October 19 to 30 this year. Niharika has been shot in some remote locations in Madhupur, Simultala and Giridih for more than a year to capture the essence of three seasons – summer, monsoon and winter.

The official trailer of indrasis acharya’s next film ‘Niharika’ (In The Mist) has already created quite a lot of buzz ahead of its theatrical release on July 21.
