When Rituparna received an unexpected parcel at her doorstep!

Indrasis Acharya’s ‘Parcel’ which has Rituparna Sengupta in the lead chronicles around the protagonists Nandini (Rituparna) and Shouvik (Saswata Chatterjee) who are doctors. They have a daughter Suja. Nandini is currently on leave for a reason which we will get to know as the film progresses. Nandini’s life changes all together when she starts receiving parcels from a stranger and it slowly brings back some memories of her past, her relationships and her professional mistakes.
Talking about the subject of this film, we asked the seasoned actress whether she ever get an unexpected parcel in real life. In reply, Rituparna shares an interesting story.
“Not so long back, I received a parcel at home. It had an album with pictures of mine that I was not aware of. The pictures were taken over a certain period of time and had me on film sets and other public places. But none was a published picture. It got me really curious. But there was no name on the gift. I could understand that it was from some crazy fan, who didn’t want to disclose his/her identity,” revealed the Tollywood diva.
The film ‘Parcel’ which also stars Sreela Majumder, Ambarish Bhattacharya and Daminee Basu among others recently earned Indrasis Acharya the Best Director award (Hiralal Sen Memorial) at the 25^thKolkata International Film Festival.
