Meerut police have registered an FIR against two individuals for allegedly duping a man into signing bail papers for a notorious gangster. The victim, Mohd Anwar, was promised an easy loan in 2018 but was unknowingly made to secure bail for gangster Udham Singh. Singh, with over 50 cases, was recently released after four years in jail.
