Telugu romantic drama 'Couple Friendly' has arrived on Amazon Prime Video after its Valentine's Day theatrical release. Starring Santosh Sobhan and Manasa Varanasi, the film initially explores a modern live-in relationship in Chennai.

Manasa Varanasi is receiving accolades for her impressive performance in 'Couple Friendly,' which channels the essence of Sai Pallavi's acclaimed roles. The film, capturing the journey of a stylist and her serendipitous encounter with a tech-savvy graduate, has impressively grossed approximately Rs 4.86 crore in its opening week.

The stranger orders that Mithra should behave in the party only in the manner, as ordered by him. An angry Mithra tries to take on the stranger. The stranger messages the video recording of Mithra, which he took while she came to hand over the cash to him and threatens her again. Without any other alternate options, Mithra accepts to follow the instructions given by the stranger and behave accordingly in the party organised by Adithya.

As soon as Akhilandeswari and Parvathy leave for the temple, Mithra guesses the new password and logs into her laptop. A reluctant Parvathy tells everything to Akhilandeswari. Though Akhilandeswari gets angry listening to the allegations made by Parvathy. She comes back and notices Mithra. Akhilandeswari wants to find out Mithra's entire plan and lets her go free. Later, Parvathy informs Sundaram about the incident. Purushothaman is happy that Akhilandeswari is suspecting Mithra.

Mithra is forced to follow the stranger's order and put the pen back in Akhilandeswari's bag. But while doing so, Mithra gets caught by Akhilandeswari. Mithra tries to cover up by lying that she has a rare disorder of stealing good pens from others. Akhilandeswari shouts at Mithra asking her to take proper treatment for her health issues.

Vanaja speaks ill about Adithya in the presence of Akhilandeswari, Purushothaman, and Aishwarya. Akhilandeswari has immense belief in Adithya and asks Vanaja to keep quiet. Adithya surprises everyone by bringing Mithra back to the house. As Akhilandeswari asks about Mithra, Adithya tells that he found her in police custody.

In the presence of Akhilandeswari and Purushothaman, Vanaja accuses Adithya of kidnapping Mithra to avoid the wedding with her. An angry Akhilandeswari slaps Vanaja for her accusations. But, Vanaja stands firm on her accusation.

Parvathy overhears that, Nandhini is instructing Mithra to steal all the business-related documents from Akhilandeswari’s laptop to destroy her business empire. Mithra notices Akhilandeswari working on her laptop. As Akhilandeswari leaves her laptop and leaves. Meanwhile, Mithra tries to steal business secrets from Akhilandeswari’s laptop. Parvathy wants to stop Mithra from stealing the business-related secrets. Parvathy rushes and informs Akhilandeswari that Purushothaman has called her urgently.

Mithra follows Vanaja’s ideas and plans to insult Aishwarya. In the presence of Akhilandeswari, Mithra questions Aishwarya about share trading. As Mithra teaches Aishwarya about share trading, she (Mithra) is praised by Akhilandeswari.

Nandhini insists Mithra to join the puja. Mithra and Vanaja enact a drama to get permission from Akhilandeswari. As Mithra heads to the puja in her car and accidentally runs over a stranger. She eventually gets arrested in the hit and run case. Adithya assures a worried Parvathy that he will not marry Mithra under any circumstance. Mithra misleads the police by naming Arunachalam and his wife as her parents. The two later confess that they are acting as Mithra’s parents for money. The cops then head to their residence to verify Mithra’s information.

The inspector brings Nandhini’s uncle Adiseshan and tries to reveal the relationship between Nandhini and Mithra and all the forgeries done by them. But, Adiseshan hides the complete truth. Finally, the inspector presents the video evidence that shows Mithra, Nandhini, and Adiseshan visiting the Registrar’s office. Akhilandeswari observes the CCTV video footage. An angry Akhilandeswari strangles Nandhini.

Mithra devices a foul plan to land Parvathy into trouble. Mithra asks the Manager to force Parvathy (as Goodwill ambassador) to address the foreign clients in English. As Parvathy doesn’t know English, Mithra wants to take the advantage and humiliate her. Mithra compels the manager to give Parvathy a write up which is full of errors. The manager reluctantly follows Mithra’s orders. Parvathy addresses the foreign clients and gives a speech based on the write up provided by the manager. As a result, the clients laugh at Parvathy.

Rebel Star Prabhas, known for his action blockbusters, revealed his all-time favorite film is the classic romance drama 'Geethanjali'. He drew parallels between the Mani Ratnam directorial and the recently released 'Couple Friendly', stating the latter evoked similar touching emotions, especially its outstanding climax. Prabhas explained his preference for love stories despite his action-heavy filmography.

Akhilandeswari fumes over learning about Mithra's conspiracy against Parvathy. Akhilandeswari slaps Mithra in anger and says, Adithya maintains restraint just for the sake of her. Hence, it’s up to Mithra to behave properly and make sure that she gets married to Adithya without any drama.

Akhilandeswari shouts at Mithra and demands an explanation. To tackle the issue, Mithra presents the documents which says she has invested money in 30 other companies. Mithra says, she is very much interested in stock trading. She has invested money in other companies too. Akhilandeswari seems to be convinced by Mithra's words and leaves the issue. Parvathy worries since she couldn't prove anything about Mithra.

The workers meet Vanaja and Mithra, confesses their mistake of accepting bribes and return the amount. Akhilandeswari rebukes Mithra and Vanaja for their foolish act. She plans to create a positive image for Mithra. Akhilandeswari slaps Mithra in front of the workers and says that her act of buying votes unacceptable. Akhilandeswari apologises on Mithra’s behalf. She adds that she has never failed in her life and doesn’t wish to fail in the elections, too.

Arun, Aishwarya, and Purushothaman are worried about Akhilandeswari’s decision. Purushothaman hatches a plan to stop the Adithya’s marriage with Mithra. Earlier, Purushothaman learnt the details about how Mithra exchanged her horoscope with Parvathy's. Following the plan, Arun, Aishwarya, and Purushothaman try to influence Akhilandeswari. Later, Akhilandeswari decides to check the horoscopes of Adithya, Parvathy and Mithra.

The stranger orders Mithra to burn herself with a cigarette. Mithra initially protests but eventually fulfills his demand. Mithra challenges to kill the stranger if she finds him. The stranger confronts Mithra and slaps her. He further orders Mithra and Vanaja to stay away from Parvathy.

Arun tries to play a prank on Mithra. In the presence of Akhilandeswari and other family members, Arun gives her a missed call and says she has a call from Nandhini. A frightened Mithra checked her mobile and shouts at Arun for lying to her. Arun asks her the reason behind overreacting to his prank. Akhilandeswari suspects Mithra’s lineage. She doubts if Mithra belongs to the Nagapuri lineage just like Nandhini. She remembers the tattoo on Nadhini’s nape and decides to check if Mithra has a similar tattoo.

Akhilandeswari says she doesn’t hold any grudge against him for opposing her and backing Parvathy. Vanaja and Mithra are annoyed by Akhilandeswari and Adithya’s patch up. Parvathy is glad for the same. Meanwhile, the election officer announces that Parvathy has won the election. Akhilandeswari, Mithra and Vanaja are shocked by the results.

Parvathy gets ready to perform the puja in Adithya’s room. Sundaram tries to find more details about the same. Vanaja wakes up early and wonders whether Mithra is ready for puja. To her surprise, Mithra is ready. But, Vanaja gets worried as Mithra commits a mistake by taking a dip in hot water instead of cold water. Mithra does the puja for namesake while Parvathy does it complete devotion.

Senthil (Nandhini’s new gang member) calls Nandhini and updates that he has accomplished his task of adulterating the milk powder that is manufactured in Akhilandeswari’s factory. Nandhini plans to get Akhilandeswari arrested with these allegations. Nandhini explains her adulteration plan to Vanaja and Mithra.

Akhilandeswari takes Mithra to her sister Nandhini’s home and gives a shock of her life. Vanaja, who is in Nandhini's home tries to hide her (Nandini). Finally, Mithra accompanied by Akhilandeswari observes Nandhini.

Nandhini’s aide Visu suddenly visits the wedding venue. Nandhini is worried that Visu might expose her and Mithra at the wedding. As Visu reveals the secrets about the forgery done by Mithra, Akhilandeswari gets furious. Akhilandeswari rushes to Mithra’s room along with Guruji and Visu. Visu exposes Mithra's real fingerprints while Arun gets Parvathy's fingerprints. Guruji examines the fingerprints of both Mithra and Parvathy. He reveals that Mithra’s fingerprints don't match with the horoscope and confirms that she committed forgery. Akhilandeswari slaps Mithra. Meanwhile, Adithya also reaches the wedding venue.

Akhilandeswari lashes out at Parvathy for contesting in the poll disobeying her order. Adithya intervenes and says that he insisted her to file the nomination. He further asks whether Mithra is afraid of Parvathy. Mithra accepts the challenge. Akhilandeswari and Vanaja try to caution Mithra but the latter doesn’t heed to them.

Nandhini tells Vanaja that details about Mithra’s parents. She adds Mithra's parents won't be found easily because they are in her custody. Nandhini reveals all the secrets about her family and parents. Nandhini says that their biological parents are abroad. For the safety of the children, the kids live with foster parents. Hence, Adithya cannot find details about her biological parents.
