A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment by a Pocso court in Kandhamal for repeatedly raping a 16-year-old girl after kidnapping her last year. The court also imposed a Rs 55,000 fine and ordered Rs 5 lakh compensation for the survivor. The victim was rescued by police after being held captive for five days.
