The Allahabad high court on Monday directed to release on bail, Manmohan Rai Chhabra, one of the officers of Union Bank of India, who in 2011 allegedly allowed payments against forged ‘Letter of Credit ’ issued by Punjab National Bank.

The Hansi police have arrested a woman and her lover for allegedly abducting her 3-year-old son. The police produced both of them in the court on Tuesday, from where both were sent to judicial custody.

A local court on Tuesdy directed Hisar range IGP to find who botched up the probe into the murder of a policeman’s wife in 2020. On April 16, 2020, the case was registered at Hisar City police station in connection with the death of a woman named Rinku. Her husband, Vikram, gunman to then Jind DSP Kaptan Singh, was made the accused on the complaint of Rinku’s brother Vikas.
