MUMBAI: T M Nagarajan on Thursday assumed charge as a whole-time director of Securities and Exchange Board of India.

A 30-year-old rowdy from Alanganallur was murdered by his friend after the former developed an illicit relationship with a woman, who was his friend’s relative. The accused severed the head and carried it to the Alanganallur police station and surrendered.
