Canon India has entered into a partnership with Wavesight to exclusively distribute HawkEye body-worn cameras in India. This move is helping the company expand its footprint in real-time surveillance and field-ready monitoring solutions. The partnership will bring connected body-worn systems to sectors such as law enforcement, defence, paramilitary forces, and enterprises. These devices are designed to support live video streaming, communication, and digital evidence management during on-ground operations.
How Canon and Wavesight’s cameras will work: Features and more
The HawkEye cameras will be deployed across use cases, including police patrols, traffic enforcement, crowd management, border security, and industrial safety monitoring.
They are also intended for emergency services such as fire and rescue teams and ambulance operations.
