V-Guard has expanded its home appliances portfolio with the launch of the Aurina RO water purifier series in India. The new range introduces DuoGuard Filter Technology, a dual-cartridge filtration system that integrates pre-filtration within a compact unit. According to the company, the system aims to address issues such as microbial growth, fluctuating water pressure and installation constraints commonly faced in Indian households. The Aurina series also focuses on water efficiency, mineral retention after purification and compact installation, while supporting multi-stage purification across all variants.
Commenting on the launch, Mithun K Chittilappilly, Managing Director at V-Guard Industries Ltd., said:
“At V-Guard, we believe that meaningful innovation begins with a deep understanding of real consumer challenges. With Aurina, we have reimagined water purification by addressing often-overlooked issues such as microbial growth in idle systems, inconsistent water pressure, and installation constraints. V-Guard Aurina RO water purifier series: Key specs and features
The Aurina series features V-Guard’s DuoGuard Filter Technology, a dual-cartridge filtration system with an anti-microbial activated carbon layer intended to reduce microbial growth within the filter system. The integrated design eliminates the need for external pre-filters, which the company says reduces installation complexity and saves kitchen space.
The water purifiers support a water recovery rate of up to 40% at Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels reaching 2,000 PPM. According to V-Guard, this could help households save approximately 12.5 litres of water per day under certain usage conditions.
The series also includes a Mineral Health Charger (MHC), which restores essential minerals after the RO purification process. All variants support multi-stage purification combining RO, UV and UF technologies, depending on the model selected.
The Aurina series is backed by a two-year unconditional warranty covering filters, the RO membrane and electrical components, along with after-sales support through V-Guard’s service network across India.
