Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa laid to rest

Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa passed away on December 5 after suffering from a cardiac arrest. Puratchi Thalaivi Amma was laid to rest at Chennai's Marina beach, next to her mentor MGR.

All 37 Lok Sabha MPs belonging to AIADMK today skipped the proceedings of the House, a day after their party supremo J Jayalalithaa suffered a cardiac arrest in Chennai.

Kerala governor wishes Jaya speedy recovery
Kerala governor P Sathasivam today said he was "deeply saddened" to hear of the health condition of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who suffered a cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Chennai, and prayed for her speedy recovery.
