This update comes days after Blake Lively failed to wish Taylor Swift on her engagement with Travis Kelce.A few hours ago, according to US Weekly and Page Six, Justin Baldoni’s legal team had claimed that Taylor Swift has “agreed” to present evidence and be disposed, if the judge is able to extend the deadline.But just hours after this news was made public and sparked chaos among fans, Taylor Swift’s legal team denied such claims.As per Deadline, Taylor Swift’s lawyer Douglas Baldridge wrote to Judge Lewis Liman, “As counsel for the parties know, since the inception of this matter we have consistently maintained that my client has no material role in this action…”The one page correspondence added, “Further, my client did not agree to a deposition, but if she is forced into a deposition, we advised (after first hearing about the deposition just three days ago) that her schedule would accommodate the time required during the week of October 20 if the parties were able to work out their disputes.” Blake Lively’s legal team has also denied that Taylor Swift “agreed” to the deposition.This shocking update in the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni’s legal drama comes at a time when the actress’ decade long friendship with Taylor Swift has come to a brutal end.Blake Lively and Taylor Swift were last spotted in public in October 2024 when they stepped out with Ryan Reynolds and Travis Kelce.
