Neymar addressed the issue after scoring in Santos’ 1-1 draw against Deportivo Recoleta, trying to calm the situation.The veteran forward admitted that he reacted poorly and said he had already apologised privately to his teammate and his family. The issue drew attention after Robinho Jr. reported the matter to the club, leading to an internal investigation. Despite the tension, both players later spoke and resolved the issue. Neymar apologises as Santos deal with dressing room tension

Neymar clarified that he regretted how he handled the moment and accepted that his reaction crossed the line. He explained that he had already spoken to Robinho Jr. and his family earlier, offering a sincere apology. According to Neymar, the situation escalated quickly during training, and although both players were involved, he admitted his own mistake was more serious .
He added that the matter had been discussed within the squad, and both players had apologised to each other in front of the group.
Robinho Jr., is the son of former Brazil international Robinho. In the media interaction he confirmed that there was physical contact during the altercation.
