Nico Muller has enjoyed a strong season following his switch from Andretti Formula E to Porsche Formula E Team. The Swiss driver has consistently remained among the frontrunners in the Formula E Drivers’ Championship standings, sitting just one place behind his team-mate Pascal Wehrlein. After securing his maiden Formula E victory in Berlin, Muller continued to impress in Monaco. Although he failed to score points in the first race, he bounced back with a second-place finish in the second race of the Monaco E-Prix.
Nico Muller sums up Monaco E-Prix
Nico Muller narrowly missed out on points after finishing 11th in Round 9 in Monaco before improving to sixth place in Round 10. He currently sits fifth in the title race with 83 points, one place ahead of Antonio Felix da Costa.
Reflecting on the Monaco weekend and looking ahead to the next race, Muller wrote on Instagram alongside several photos: “Oh dear Monaco, you can be super rewarding yet so cruel. P6 in yesterday’s race is all we take home after being fast & in the podium fight on both days. Very sorry for the team & Pascal that our efforts weren’t rewarded and for my part in it. We take the positives and learn our lessons - rest assured we’ll come back stronger for Sanya!”
Reacting to the post, one fan commented: “Amazing drive on Saturday to get the car home with no front wing and bits hanging off the back. Resilience doesn’t come close - next time Nico!”
Another added: “You both did well no matter what. Proud of this team.” A third supporter wrote: “You’ll definitely come back stronger, all the best!”
Nico Muller calls first Formula E victory in Berlin unforgettable

To share this with my team, my family & you fans makes this absolutely unforgettable. THANK YOU.”
Muller will now turn his attention to the Sanya E-Prix. Round 11 in China is scheduled to take place on 20 June. There are still seven races remaining before Season 12 concludes ahead of the introduction of the GEN4 cars in Season 13.
