Poll
What target will be comfortable for India to chase today?

England and Australia are my favourite teams to play against as my confidence and approach take a different route when playing against such competitive teams.

Pitch Report
"It's a fresh pitch and the dimensions are short on one side of the ground. This is the same pitch that will be used for tomorrow as well. It's a nice, healthy green patch and it's in the line of middle and off-stump. The batters would target the shorter boundaries." -- Ian Bishop and Anjum Chopra
18:11 (IST) Feb 23

Pooja is unwell, so Sneh is replacing her. One more change is there. In place of Raja (Rajeshwari Gayakwad) Radha (Yadav) is in. I had a fever, but now I'm fine. One thing that we have been discussing throughout the tournament is that we have to bat well. That's why we added one more batter. One more change: Yastika comes in for Devika.

India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur

18:08 (IST) Feb 23

We are gonna have a bat. Looks a pretty good wicket, conditions are really good so get out there and have some fun. Jess Jonassen comes in for Alana King and Alyssa Healy (fully fit and good to go) is back for Annabel Sutherland. It's a different wicket, looks like it is playing pretty well, as usual we get out here and see what it is doing and adjust accordingly.

Poll
Which team will win today?
17:31 (IST) Feb 23
In less than three weeks, Smriti Mandhana will captain Australian duo Ellyse Perry and Megan Schutt at the Royal Challengers Bangalore, while Beth Mooney, Annabel Sutherland, Ashleigh Gardner and Georgia Wareham will be Harleen Deol's teammates at Gujarat Giants. Likewise, Meg Lanning will join forces with Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma and Shikha Pandey at Delhi Capitals. But on Thursday, players from the two countries will be on either side of the battle line in the big-ticket semifinal of the T20 Women's World Cup in Cape Town. The India-Australia combination is a heady mix in the Women's Premier League, with 14 players coming in from Down Under. It is also a reflection of their popularity, brand of cricket and the value they add to the sport.

They attack a lot. Whatever happens to them, even if the batter is out, they don't stop attacking because they have batters from top to bottom. We don't know how the pitch will behave, but it looks nice. We can target 180 if all our batters click and we will try to restrict them to 150.

Richa Ghosh

17:15 (IST) Feb 23

They are a strong team, but we can beat them. We know the weak spot of Australia and we are planning against it, but I will not say what that is because then they will come prepared. We are also trying to improve our mindset. Everyone has the (ability), but the team that is mentally strong will win. We have been working on that.

Richa Ghosh

17:12 (IST) Feb 23
India's Richa Ghosh claims her side have full confidence going into the game, despite the fact they have won six of their 30 previous T20 matches against the Australians, and lost nine of the last 10, with the other fixture tied.
