CBSE class 12 results out: How to check marks on website and through DigiLockerCBSE Class 12 Result 2026: The CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 is expected to be declared soon by the Central Board of Secondary Education on its official result portals. Indications regarding the upcoming announcement emerged after a “Result Coming Soon” image linked to Class 12 results was reportedly activated on DigiLocker.The Class 12 board examinations for the 2026 session were held from February 17 to April 10, 2026. This year, CBSE introduced the On-Screen Marking system for digital evaluation of answer sheets, a process aimed at reducing manual errors and speeding up the compilation of results.Where students will be able to check resultsOnce declared, students will be able to access their marks through the official websites cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. Apart from the websites, results will also be available on DigiLocker, the UMANG application and SMS services.To check the result online, students will be required to enter their roll number, school number and admit card ID. Due to high traffic immediately after declaration, students may also use alternative digital platforms provided by the board.How to download marksheet through DigiLockerStudents will be able to access provisional digital marksheets through DigiLocker soon after the announcement of results. To download the marksheet, candidates will have to log in using Aadhaar-linked or registered mobile credentials.After signing in, students will need to open the Education section and select the Central Board of Secondary Education option. They can then click on “Class XII Marksheet”, enter the required examination credentials and download the provisional document.The original marksheets and passing certificates will later be distributed through schools.Result timeline under focus after DigiLocker updateThe activation of the DigiLocker banner has increased attention around the expected declaration date. The banner generally appears when backend arrangements for digital marksheet hosting enter the final phase.Reports associated with the evaluation process have indicated that the result may be announced today, tomorrow or during the current week. May 10, 2026 falls on a Sunday.Re-evaluation and compartment services after resultFollowing the declaration of results, CBSE is expected to begin post-result services including verification of marks, re-evaluation applications, photocopy requests for answer sheets and compartment examination applications.The board followed a regular May schedule in recent years, announcing Class 12 results on May 13 in both 2024 and 2025, and on May 12 in 2023. The overall Class 12 pass percentage recorded last year stood at 88.39 per cent.
