Villager killed in BSF firing in Meghalaya

A villager was shot dead by BSF in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills close to the Indo-Bangladesh border on Friday . While no FIR was registered, the autopsy and a probe was underway. "During a confrontation, BSF personnel fired gunshots on the mob due to which one person, identified as Asen M Marak of Daliya village, died," the SP said.
