VENGARA: IUML’s K M Shaji wins Vengara seat in the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections.Embedded in Kerala's Malappuram district, the Vengara Assembly constituency occupies the 41st slot among the state's 140 legislative seats, anchoring the Malappuram Lok Sabha landscape. This general seat galvanises over 210,000 voters from a robust Muslim-majority base, registering turnouts above 70 per cent, and spans Vengara grama panchayat alongside adjacent areas in north Kerala.
