He also highlights plans for a detailed discussion with her about the Wayanad landslide incident. "So far, the Government of India has not sanctioned funds for compensation and rehabilitation, despite the state government's submission of a detailed proposal," Suresh tells ANI.Priyanka Gandhi won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat with an impressive margin of 4,10,931 votes, defeating CPI candidate Sathyan Mokeri in a triangular contest that also featured BJP's Navya Haridas. On Wednesday, she described her election certificate as a symbol of trust and shared values, expressing gratitude to the people of Wayanad. "Thank you, Wayanad, for choosing me to take forward this journey to build a better future for yourselves," she wrote on X.The Wayanad seat was previously held by Rahul Gandhi, who vacated it after opting to represent Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, in this year's general elections.
