Parassala election results 2026: CPI(M)'s C K Hareendran defeats INC's Neyyattinkara Sanal by 15,013 votes

In Kerala's Parassala, CPI(M)'s C K Hareendran received 69,149 votes to defeat INC's Neyyattinkara Sanal by 15,013 votes. Sanal got 54,136 votes.Parassala Assembly constituency is a general seat in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, encompassing coastal border areas near Tamil Nadu with fishing communities, rubber plantations, and migrant workers shaping its politics. The current MLA is C.K. Hareendran from CPI(M), elected in 2021 with 78,548 votes (48.16per cent), defeating INC's R.K. Ansajitha Ressel (52,720 votes, 32.33per cent) by 25,828 votes, while BJP's Karamana Jayan got 29,850 votes (18.30per cent) amid 72.41per cent turnout.
