Noapara election results 2026: Arjun Singh of BJP wins against Trinankur Bhattacharjee of AITC

Arjun Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won the Noapara Assembly Constituency No. 107, defeating Trinankur Bhattacharjee of the All India Trinamool Congress.Noapara is an assembly seat in North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal(No. 107). It forms part of the Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituency and covers North Barrackpur municipality, Garulia municipality, Ichhapur Defence Estate, Barrackpur Cantonment, and select gram panchayats from Barrackpore II CD block.This urban constituency near Kolkata features military estates, industrial zones, and residential areas, with around 250,000 electors.In the 2021 West Bengal legislative assembly elections, Manju Basu (AITC) won with 94,203 votes, defeating BJP's Sunil Singh (67,493 votes) by 26,710 votes. AITC gained it in 2018 bypolls from Congress.
