A total of 12 complaints were registered with the chief electoral officer Gujarat on Tuesday from across the state till 12pm on Tuesday.
Two complaints were received from Ahmedabad. In one complaint Congress workers complained that a rival party had put up banners and flags right next to a government building in Bodakdev. In another complaint in Vejalpur, voters complained that certain polling booth staff were insisting that they vote quickly. In another complaint in Jhalod, polling agents had complained that at six places they were threatened by rival party members. In Porbander an alleged bogus polling agent was reported from one booth. In Surat, complaints were received from Olpad where a table was spotted within 100 meters of the polling booth. In Bhavnagar, MLA Vibhavriben Dave had raised party slogans while giving her statement to the media within the restricted limit of the polling booth. In Patan, some voters had complained that their names were missing from the list.

Ahmedabad: Gujarat witnessed 40% polling till 1pm on Tuesday in the third phase of the Lok Sabha polls. Bharuch saw the highest polling by 1:15pm with 45% polling followed by Valsad at 44%. Tribal seats of Chota Udepur and Dahod witnessed 39% and 40% polling, while Porbander lagged behind at 28.04% polling. On Gandhinagar seat where BJP national president Amit Shah is seeking a huge margin of victory witnessed 39.03% voting. In Mehsana where some of the pitched battles is being fought nearly 40.7% votes were polled.
