Lok Sabha elections 2019: Violence, EVM glitches mar Phase 3 in eastern, NE states

Poll official mistakenly presses delete button on EVM, Agra booth to have re-polling on April 25

The Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday ordered re-polling on a booth of Agra Lok Sabha constituency where polling was held in the second phase of election on April 18. The re-polling on the booth of Etmadpur assembly constituency will take place on April 25. According to sources, the presiding officer mistakenly pressed the clear button on the electronic voting machine (EVM) at Jatoa village polling booth, cancelling all the recorded votes.
