In the Tamil Nadu Assembly election 2026 results, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate Mohamed Farvas J secured victory, holding off a challenge from the Indian National Congress (INC) in a two-way contest.
Farvas polled 63,182 votes, winning with a margin of 10,062 votes, according to counting trends.
Congress candidate T. Ramachandran finished second with 31,456 votes.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Kavitha Srikanth remained a distant third.
The result adds to TVK’s growing presence in its electoral debut, while Congress continues to struggle to convert support into victories in several seats.
