Such occasions not only put their professional fortes out of sight, but also indicate a poor sense of fashion.<br><br> <b>BLUNDER MANAGEMENT</b>: Know well what suits your work environment. Professionals involved in the glamour industry, like event management companies, lifestyle reporters/writers, choreographers, designers, interior designers, can opt for a funky look. Those into the corporate field, including top management officials, directors, CEOs, managers, secretaries, and HR officials need to don more formal attires.<br><br> "There has to be smart dressing and effortless styling. For women, a straight, knee length or may be a pencil skirt teamed with a plain, white shirt and a silk scarf is perfect in a corporate work environment. It looks comfortable and also gives a feminine feel," recommends designer Mandira Wirk.<br><br> For men, nicely tailored suits can accomplish the trick. "Suits in stripes, checks in shades of black, brown, navy and grey are great options. Colourful suits are inappropriate for offices," opines designer Rahul Khanna. As for jackets, you can choose from an array of collars, but avoid round neck T-shirts, open button shirts and loose cufflinks.<br><br>
