Delhi man's midnight scooter crisis

A Delhi guy was heading home around 12:15 a.m. when his scooter suddenly came to a stop midway, completely out of fuel after running on fumes. Stranded on a dark, quiet road, he figured he’d push it all the way home alone. His Reddit post describes his dreadful feelings - a vehicle in bad shape in the dead of night, no quick fix in sight. But then, Delhi's strangers turned the tide, proving the city's rep for big hearts holds true even after midnight.“Thank you, Delhi strangers, for helping me,” the caption of the post reads, shared on Reddit.

First helper pushes him to safety

While he was pushing the scooter toward a petrol pump, with his hope dimming, a biker pulled up out of nowhere.
He asked what happened and jumped in to help push without a second thought.“He took me near a petrol station and went his way before I could even say thanks to him,” the post adds, from the rider's Reddit account.

Second saviour helps him with the payment

At the station, trouble struck again, with no UPI, no cash, or card on the rider. Even begging for one litre to reach another pump got shut down. Then another biker entered, right after refilling his own ride. He stepped up, letting the guy use his card for UPI payment, without any fuss, and no strings attached.“So finally I revived my scooty with fuel and paid the guy, and this time I was able to thank him, and finally I went to my home,” the Reddit post shares gratefully.

Social media lights up with praise

The story went viral on Reddit, with users flooding comments with warmth for the helpers. One called it a “Christmas miracle,” tying into the holiday spirit.A second wrote, “Santa brings good energy around.” Another proudly wrote, “Meri Dilli dil waalon ki,” celebrating Delhi's generous soul.
