Boman Irani will be seen in the upcoming horror comedy film, ‘The Raja Saab,’ directed by
Maruthi. Recently, the director shared interesting updates about the film and its characters. Maruthi explained that as soon as Boman Irani’s character enters the story, the mood of the film changes.
Makers share new video from ‘The Raja Saab’
The makers took to their X (formerly Twitter) handle to share a video, which is the fourth episode of “Legacy of The Raja Saab,” where Maruthi is seen speaking about the film. In the almost 2-minute video, Maruthi shared that the ‘3 Idiots’ actor plays a psychiatrist in the film.
Boman Irani's character changes the tone of the film
He said, “Another important character in the film is Boman Irani’s. As seen in the trailer, his makeover will be different. Boman Irani plays the role of a psychiatrist in the film. From the beginning, the thought was that as his character arrives, there should be a change in the tone from a horror comedy to an unimaginable turn.”

The director also praised Boman Irani’s dedication and performance. He shared that after hearing the narration, the actor fully understood and owned the character.
Maruthi revealed that Boman Irani delivered his dialogues in both Telugu and Hindi. He said actors like Boman Irani have the power to mesmerize audiences with their presence. “In this film, he will be there for 15-16 minutes. As long as he is there, you will definitely feel captivated by his acting,” he said.
In the trailer released earlier, Boman Irani is seen explaining to
Prabhas about Sanjay Dutt’s character, who is described as a powerful character who knows magic, hypnosis, and psychology. Another trailer released recently shows Sanjay Dutt as a menacing figure haunting the mansion that Prabhas seems to have inherited.
The movie is set to release on January 9 and is set for a clash with Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan.’
