Paramvir Singh Cheema reveals his father’s REACTION to 'Border 2' selection; calls it a special life moment

Actor Paramvir Singh Cheema feels proud and emotional as he steps into the world of 'Border 2.' He will be seen playing the role of Subedar Nishaan Singh in the much-talked-about war drama. Recently, Cheema shared a heartfelt post on social media about how his father reacted when he told him about getting selected for the film.

He wrote, “When I told my father that I got shortlisted for Border 2, he said, ‘Eh Taan Krni He Hai’ (You have to do this).” He was so happy; my whole family and friends were so happy. This is for my friends and family.”

Being part of the 'Border' legacy

For Paramvir Singh Cheema, 'Border 2' is not just another film. It is something very special. He shared how being part of the Border legacy feels unreal to him. On Instagram, he wrote, “Being a part of such an iconic film means so much to me. Never thought my journey would take me to the sets of Border, singing the iconic line ‘Sandese Aate Hai,’ performing with Sunny Deol and such great actors.”

Gratitude for director Anurag Singh

Cheema also used the moment to thank director Anurag Singh for trusting him. He spoke warmly about their bond and learning experience. He wrote, “Thank you @anurag_singh_films for having faith in me. It was a pleasure to work under your direction, sir. Working with you was so easy as an actor. I used to discuss a lot of things with you about crafts, family, work, and life and found a big brother in you. Thank you for making me a part of such an iconic film.”

'Border 2' music release

Meanwhile, 'Border 2' has already started touching hearts with its music. The makers recently launched the song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ at an amphitheater near the Tanot Mata Temple in Jaisalmer. The event was attended by Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and the producers.

At the event, Sunny Deol shared an emotional memory. Addressing BSF soldiers, he said, “Ever since I did Border... I have been a part of your family. I did Border because I had watched my father's movie 'Haqeeqat'... I loved it a lot back then when I was a kid.”
