Fans of the star couple were over the moon when they spotted the duo enjoying a day out in New York City. The spotting and social media posts come weeks after the Bachchan duo and their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, quietly jetted out of Mumbai for the holidays. While at first their location was kept under wraps, fan posts indicated that the two were spending the New Year in New York. Photos and videos that surfaced online, show Aishwarya and Abhishek in a cheery mood as they spread festive cheer. The stars paused to greet fans and even obliged a few with selfies and personal video messages. In one video, believed to be addressed to a fan, Aishwarya is heard sending out a warm New Year message. “Here’s wishing you a very happy New Year, God bless and all my love always,” the actress says.The couple stuck to an all-black colour palette, twinning in all-black winter wear. Abhishek is currently enjoying a brief break from work, having stepped away from the sets of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film 'King'. According to reports, the actor will be seen playing the antagonist in the much-anticipated action flick.Interestingly, the Bachchans are not the only Bollywood stars spending the festive season in New York. 'King' co-star Deepika Padukone is also in the city, holidaying with her husband Ranveer Singh and daughter Dua. The couple has been soaking in the festive spirit, playing the perfect tourists, by visiting Christmas markets, dining at local pubs, and even attending basketball games.
