Disha Patani is cheering on her two best friends Mouni Roy and Jacqueline Fernandez as they make their mark at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France. Jacqueline attended an event put together by Chopard, the famous Swiss luxury jewellery brand that is also an official partner of the festival. Mouni, on the other hand, dropped some stunning pictures from the festival but stayed tight-lipped about the reason for her visit. The actress has also been grabbing attention for a different reason, having recently confirmed her split from husband Suraj Nambiar.Though Disha appears to have skipped Cannes this year, she made sure her girls knew she was cheering them on from home. "You go girl (red heart emoji)," Disha commented on Mouni's photo dump from the Cannes Film Festival. Mouni, dressed in a chic black dress with an overcoat draped over her shoulders, posed on a balcony with the stunning French Riviera as her backdrop. She shared the pictures on her Instagram on Tuesday with the caption, "Cannes & Chaos! Bonjour x."At around the same time, Jacqueline took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from her appearance at the Chopard event. "Tonight for @chopard Miracle show in Cannes! Beautiful collection," she wrote in the caption. Jacqueline looked stunning in a black fur dress paired with sparkling jewellery as she arrived at the venue, with a man holding an umbrella over her to shield her from the sun. She also gave her followers a peek at her red carpet moment, candid shots from the corridor, and a posed picture on the stairs. Adding a personal touch, she even shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse from her hotel room, showing her getting ready in a bathing suit with wet, tousled hair. Disha, once again showing up for her friend, also dropped a comment on this post and wrote, "Beauty (red heart emoji)."Disha's support for Mouni at Cannes is not just limited to cheering her on at a film festival. The actress had already shown where her loyalties lie when she quietly unfollowed Mouni's estranged husband Suraj Nambiar on Instagram, a gesture that spoke volumes without any words. Not long after, Mouni and Suraj made their split official through a joint statement, asking the media to give them the space and privacy they needed during such a personal and challenging time."We note with dismay the unnecessary and intrusive attention into our personal lives by certain quarters of the media. We would like to state that we have decided to part ways and are taking the necessary time to address matters privately and amicably," read their statement. Since then, Mouni has turned off comments on her Instagram, while Suraj chose to break his silence on Tuesday by putting out another statement to address and dismiss the rumours surrounding alimony.
