As the global box office braces for the impact of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, newcomer Vikramm Bhambri has added his voice to the growing chorus of praise for director
Aditya Dhar. Speaking at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2026 in Mumbai on March 18, Bhambri boldly declared that the Ranveer Singh-starrer is destined to "create history" upon its March 19 release. The actor, who credits the franchise for his transition from "audition rooms to the silver screen," highlighted director Aditya Dhar's meticulous attention to culture and language.
Speaking at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2026 in Mumbai, he expressed strong confidence in the sequel: "As a newcomer in this industry, having seen how Aditya Sir has taken the minutest things into consideration right from the culture, the language, the looks, people, and place, I am simply awestruck with the attention to detail in his work. I’m a true believer that Dhurandhar 2 will create history across the globe. Dhurandhar 2 will be the ghatak period."

Vikramm Bhambri's high praise for Aditya Dhar’s vision
Vikramm Bhambri also heaped praise on director Aditya Dhar, describing him as a visionary and highlighting his unique approach to filmmaking. He said, “If an actor wants to play his / her character in a certain way, he gives room to the actor to play. He is aware of what he wants in the scene and yet allows actors to add some flavour to it (if it matches the scene).
That’s really one of many remarkable characteristics of Aditya Sir as a Director." Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi also praised Dhar’s personality and work style: “He’s a great guy, very gentleman, very sensible, very sensitive and extremely understandable."

Vikramm Bhambri credited the 'Dhurandhar' franchise for transforming his career and admitted that the film played a crucial role in his journey in the industry. “It has taken an ordinary guy from the audition room to the silver screen." He further explained how the franchise helped him grow as an actor. It gave him credibility and opened new opportunities.
