Filmmaker
Ali Abbas Zafar, who has achieved considerable success with his collaborations with
Salman Khan, has now set his sights on bagging projects with other Bollywood biggies like
Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Ajay Devgn.
In a recent interview with PTI, Zafar shared his aspirations to broaden his horizons after establishing himself with Salman-led films such as the 'Tiger' franchise, 'Sultan,' 'Bharat,' and 'Bloody Daddy' featuring Shahid Kapoor.
Zafar shared, "I want to work with all the actors in the industry, but definitely on my wish list are Aamir sir, Shah Rukh sir, and Ajay Devgn. I want to do action with them. It will be a different kind of action with each of them."
While many would guess that the director is keen on getting the Khans together, he emphasized the importance of tailoring projects to suit the strengths and preferences of each superstar. Drawing parallels to his previous work, Zafar shared, "Like 'Sultan' is a sports drama, but it also has action. You have to make an action film for every different actor which is customized for them or brings them out of their comfort zone."
On the work front, Zafar is set to release his big-budget film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,' starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. The action-entertainer is slated for an Eid 2024 release next week. The film will enjoy an extended run at the box office with its release on Wednesday. However, the movie will share its box office business with the film 'Maidaan', starring Ajay Devgn.
