During the award season, Kate was able to create some very beautiful connections and friendships with her fellow nominees, Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), Emma Stone (Bugonia), and Jessie Buckley (Hamnet).Expressing gratitude to have gotten the opportunity to have a bond with them, she mentioned, "In reflection, I'm so lucky that I got to be able to have that experience.
And I loved everybody on the ride with them. All of the people that were on that journey were so awesome, so fun, so together, and I just loved everything."Speaking of friendships, Hudson also shares a beautiful bond with her ‘Running Point’ executive producer, Jeanie Buss. Describing their friendship, Kate said, "I think, not only is it wonderful, but I think we both do see the growth."Then, while talking about Buss, Hudson added, "She was always someone who was very protective of me. She kind of put her arm around me and made sure I stayed out of trouble. But then to come back at this time in our life and have this experience together has been really, really wonderful and very, very cozy, I guess is the word."
