Gaaner Aitijhya, a musical evening is dedicated to Bengal’s diverse cultural and musical traditions. The programme will feature a wide repertoire, weaving together classical, modern and folk influences.
The event brings together genres such as Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrulgeeti, Dwijendrageeti, folk songs like
Matir Sur, and raga-based compositions. It will also explore modern classics popularised by
Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Shyamal Mitra, R.D. Burman, and songs from contemporary groups such as Mohiner Ghoraguli. Among the selections are

The performer behind
Gaaner Aitijhya has trained extensively in both classical music and Rabindra Sangeet, under the guidance of several noted gurus. With a background in raga-based compositions and folk traditions, she has also lent her voice to television projects, albums and jingles.
