India Issues Advisory for Nationals in Nepal Amid Violent Protests, Urges Restraint

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has urged restraint amid the ongoing Gen Z-led protests in Nepal, which have claimed at least 18 lives and left 250 injured. The ministry issued an advisory for Indian nationals living in Nepal, asking them to exercise caution, follow curfew orders, and adhere to local guidelines. Expressing grief over the loss of young lives, MEA extended condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery for those injured. As a close neighbor, India hopes that all issues in Nepal are resolved through peaceful dialogue. The advisory comes after the Nepali government lifted the social media ban, but protests continue across several cities.
