Harbour election results 2026: DMK’s Sekarbabu holds seat, wins by 11,750 votes

Harbour has delivered a clear result, with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s P K Sekarbabu retaining the seat by a comfortable margin. With counting complete (14/14 rounds), Sekarbabu secured 45,254 votes, defeating Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s Sinora P S Ashok, who polled 33,504 votes. AIADMK’s R Manohar finished third with 17,256 votes.In the 2021 Assembly elections, P K Sekarbabu (DMK) won with 59,317 votes. In 2016, he had secured victory with 42,071 votes.Harbour recorded steady voter participation, reflecting continued electoral engagement in this urban constituency.Harbour (Assembly Constituency No. 18), is a densely populated coastal and inner-city seat in North Chennai with a strong political legacy, having been represented by former chief minister M Karunanidhi and senior DMK leader K Anbazhagan.Tamil Nadu went to polls on April 23.
