JEE Advance 2026: Answer key, objection window, result date and admission process- Full details for candidates
The JEE Advanced 2026 examination was conducted across various cities in the country on Sunday, May 17, for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), with IIT Roorkee as the organising institute.
With the exam now over, candidates are waiting for the release of the answer key, result, rank list and the next steps in the admission process.
IIT Roorkee has already shared the post-exam schedule on the official JEE Advanced portal. This includes the release of candidate response sheets, provisional answer key, window for feedback, final answer key and declaration of results, among others.
The response sheets of candidates who appeared in both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be made available online on May 21, 2026 at 17:00 IST. After this, the provisional answer key will be released on May 25, 2026 at 10:00 IST, followed by a feedback window for candidates from May 25 to May 26, 2026 (till 17:00 IST), where they can raise objections or share comments.
The final answer key will be released on June 1, 2026 at 10:00 IST. The marks of candidates will be calculated strictly on the basis of the final answer key, and no changes will be allowed after its release.
Rank lists will be prepared based on aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
There is no separate ranking in AAT. Candidates only need to qualify to become eligible for B.Arch admission.
For IIT admission, candidates must also meet Class XII criteria, including minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top 20 percentile in their respective board examinations.
Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official JEE Advanced website for updates on counselling, cut-offs and seat allocation schedules.

AAT 2026 for B.Arch Admission
Candidates interested in B.Arch programs at IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee must qualify the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).Important dates:

Admission Process and Counselling
