Independent schools reported a pass percentage of 87.94% in the 2025 Class 12 exams. In contrast, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) led the institution-wise performance with a 99.29% pass rate, followed closely by Kendriya Vidyalayas (99.05%) and CTSA schools (98.96%).

Girls have once again outshone boys in the CBSE Class 12 exams, achieving a pass percentage of 91.64% compared to boys’ 85.70%. The margin of 5.94% mirrors the trend seen in previous years. Notably, transgender students achieved a 100% pass rate, up from 50% in 2024.
