Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams trust board has resolved to construct Goddess Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra. This proposed temple will come up near Sri Balaji temple, which is already being constructed by the TTD.
Briefing reporters on the key resolutions passed by the TTD trust board on Wednesday, Chairman BR Naidu stated that Board member Sourabh Bora has consented to bear the entire construction cost of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple proposed to be constructed at Navi Mumbai.
TTD trust board resolved to construct additional toilets along the free Darshan queue lines stretch between ATGH and Bata Gangamma temple at Tirumala by spending ₹4.5 cr for the convenience of common devotees.
The trust board approved an additional allocation of ₹43 cr for amenities and infrastructural improvements across all TTD educational institutions.
To meet the burgeoning water needs, TTD board sanctioned a sum of ₹6 cr for laying an additional pipeline from Gogarbham dam to Filter House at Tirumala.
The Tirupati trust also sanctioned a sum of ₹36.9 cr for the construction of a seven-storey mega Maharaja Gokulam at the TTD temple near Venkatapalem close to the state capital, Amaravati.
The allocated funds will also be used for the construction of Ayina Mahal, Radha Mandapam, Arjitha Seva Mandapam, Pushkarini and Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple.
To decongest the Alipiri checkpoint, TTD has proposed creating an additional checkpoint exclusively for APSRTC buses and cargo trucks near Vinayaka Swamy temple close to Alipiri.
TTD has hiked financial assistance from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 under the Dhoopa-Deepa Naivedyam scheme.
TTD has constituted a committee to study the donor privileges system and another committee to resolve the house sites allocation for employees.
TTD board also approved an expert committee proposal to rename important roads and landmarks at Tirumala with spiritual names.
Chairman BR Naidu stated that the board will soon take forward the proposals of constructing a mega accommodation facility near Alipiri in Tirupati.
The trust board also passed some other key resolutions on Wednesday.
TTD EO Muddada Ravichandra, Addl EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, Board members G Bhanu Prakash Reddy, Panabaka Lakshmi, Shantaram and others took part.
