Vijayawada: The Ramakrishna Mission will soon launch the Vivekananda Human Excellence Centre in Vijayawada to provide guidance and coaching to UPSC civil services aspirants. The newly constructed centre at Gandhinagar will also provide structured preparation for other competitive examinations while fostering holistic personality development among youth.
The initiative comes as Ramakrishna Mission, an affiliated branch of Belur Math, celebrates its silver jubilee year. The inauguration of the Vijayawada centre coincides with Magha Pournami and the birth anniversary of Swami Adbhutananda Maharaj, adding spiritual significance to the occasion. The centre will be inaugurated by Swami Gautamanandaji Maharaj, president of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. Former Vice-President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, will be the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony.
The centre is envisioned as a comprehensive platform for UPSC aspirants, offering not only academic guidance but also training in areas essential for personal and professional excellence. Alongside civil services coaching, the centre will conduct programmes in meditation, yoga, personality development, mental discipline, communication skills, spiritual discourses, and inner yoga practices. In addition, the Bala Samskara Kendra operating under the centre will provide training for interested participants in vocal and instrumental music, yoga, dance, value-based education, moral instruction, and devotional songs, aimed at nurturing cultural and ethical values from a young age.
