Masked men uproot ATM, escape in SUV at Dharmavaram
Tirupati: Three masked men, who came in an SUV, dismantled and decamped with an ATM at Dharmavaram in Sri Sathya Sai district on Wednesday. According to police, an ATM machine of a private bank was found stolen at Parthasarathi Nagar locality at Dharmavaram in the early hours on Wednesday. Cops rushed to the crime scene and analysed available CCTV surveillance footage, which showed three masked men arriving at the ATM in an SUV. They first used crowbars to dismantle the ATM machine. When their efforts didn't materialise, they tied the ATM machine with ropes to their SUV and uprooted the ATM with the help of their vehicle. The three masked men pushed the ATM into their SUV and decamped from the spot. Police registered a case based on the complaint lodged by the bank officials and laid a hunt for the three masked men who absconded with the ATM.
