Man, 27, dies after fall from motorcycle

Trichy: A 27-year-old man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and fell down in Trichy on Tuesday night.The deceased was identified as N Zahir Hussain, a resident of Woraiyur. According to sources, Hussain was riding back home around 12.45am on Wednesday when he suddenly lost control of his motorcycle and fell down. He sustained severe injuries in the accident. Hussain was rushed to Trichy government hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.Based on a complaint filed by his wife Gowri, Trichy south police registered a case against him under sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for rash and negligent driving that caused death.An autopsy was performed, after which the body was handed over to his family members. Police have launched an investigation.Meanwhile, another 27-year-old man riding a motorcycle died on Tuesday morning after being hit by a truck. The victim was identified as V Ramkumar from Yelurpatti near Thottiyam in Trichy district.The accident occurred on the Trichy-Dindigul national highway. Thottiyam police registered a case under similar sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
