Ranchi Restaurateur Dies After Alleged Poisoning at Restaurant

Ranchi: A city-based restaurateur died allegedly by consuming poison at one of his restaurants situated under the Lalpur police station limits on Thursday, police said.The deceased was identified as 38-year-old Abhimanyu Bhatia, police added.Deputy superintendent of police K V Raman said. “Bhatia was taken to a city-based hospital but died during treatment. The body has been sent to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) for post-mortem examination.”“The reasons behind the incident was yet to be ascertained. Forensic teams arrived at the spot and started investigating the matter,” he added.
