Married Man Dies After Stabbing Incident In Chatra: Details of the Love Triangle

Chatra: A married man, who was stabbed by his girlfriend in Chatra yesterday, succumbed to injuries on Friday, police said. Identified as Muntasir, alias Pintu Alam, he sustained fatal stab wounds under the Lawalong police station area of Chatra district. He died during the course of treatment at Rims in Ranchi.In a statement to the police before his death, Muntasir stated that his girlfriend Sabbu attacked him with a knife.The deceased was a resident of Sasang village in Latehar district. His girlfriend resides in Nagwa locality in Chatra town. The married youth, father of four, was reportedly having an extra marital affair with her, who was scheduled to marry after Durga Puja.On Thursday evening, he was found lying in a pool of blood near Bakshi village on the Lamta-Bagra road. A girl was also present there and later taken into custody by the police.
