Air Force Chief Marshal AP Singh explained that Operation Sindoor was concluded within four days because India had fulfilled its clear objective of destroying terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He stressed that extending a conflict unnecessarily can harm a nation’s economy, military readiness, and development. Referring to long-drawn wars like those in Ukraine and Gaza, Singh said they drag on due to lack of clarity and growing egos. He highlighted that India’s swift action and timely exit show how conflicts should be managed. “We achieved our anti-terror goals. There was no need to continue just for the sake of it,” he said, urging the global community to focus on clear objectives and timely conflict termination.
