Liquor bust in Ramgarh: Police uncover spurious liquor factory in Ramgarh; Two arrested and large quantities seized
Ramgarh: A spurious liquor factory, which was operating out of a house in Upper Khakhara village under Gola police station limits in Ramgarh district, was uncovered by the police. Two men, involved in production of spurious liquor, were arrested. A large quantity of ready to sale liquor of various brands were also seized besides materials for preparation of liquor, duplicate caps, wrappers, empty among others. SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat said the accused were identified as Manoj Murmu (26), and Bhadru Singh (44).
Seizures included 250 cases of duplicate foreign liquor of various brands, 1,800 litres prepared liquor stored in drums, 1,600 litres of spirit among others. “A case has been registered with Gola police station under relevant sections of Bharat Nyay Sahita 2023 and 47(A) of Excise Act,” the SP added.
