Jharkhand CM Schools of Excellence Admissions 2026-27: Bal Vatika & Class I Guidelines Released

Ranchi: The Jharkhand Education Project Council on Monday released guidelines for admissions to Bal Vatika and Class I in CM Schools of Excellence (SoE) for the academic session 2026–27.Each CM SoE will admit 40 students in Bal Vatika and 40 in Class I, with the district education officers playing a key role in collecting applications and coordinating with the state project office. A consolidated school-wise seat matrix will be issued to ensure clarity and prevent discrepancies during admissions.The JEPC has directed districts to widely publicise admission details by Jan 22, 2026, through school notice boards, district education officer offices and official websites, to ensure parents are adequately informed. The application window will remain open until Feb 16, 2026.Special emphasis has been placed on neighbourhood access, with priority given to children living within a 2-km radius of the school, followed by those within 7 km.
