Hazaribag admin lens on domestic LPG use in hotels, restaurants

Hazaribag: The district administration on Thursday said that the supply of domestic LPG as well as petrol and diesel remained normal in the district.Sadar subdivisional officer Aditya Pandey chaired a review meeting with the nodal officers and sales managers of IOCL, BPCL and HPCL along with representatives of LPG agencies and petrol pump operators. During the meet, the officials said domestic LPG is available in adequate quantity in Hazaribag and consumers will not face any difficulty in getting cylinders. “However, the supply of commercial LPG to hotels is currently affected due to disruption in supply,” officials said.

Pandey directed LPG agencies to 100% e-KYC of consumers and instructed officials to ensure that no eligible consumer is deprived of domestic LPG. The SDO also reviewed LPG supply to schools and hospitals and officials to ensure that gas supply to essential institutions is not disrupted under any circumstances.He also asked officials to conduct regular inspections of hotels to prevent commercial use of domestic LPG and curb black marketing.
